ToeJam & Earl vs. ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove
Nothing quite encapsulates the quirkiness of the early nineties like ToeJam & Earl. For nearly three decades, the Sega Genesis classic went without a true successor or contemporary in terms of gameplay and style. That was until HumaNature Studios brought everybody's favorite hip-hop alien duo back for a modern audience to enjoy. Both games could be seen as outliers of their time due to the sheer uniqueness of their gameplay, but which game is truly a better overall experience? Today, I'm here to figure that out. It's ToeJam & Earl versus ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove.
✎ Notes:

* ToeJam & Earl was captured with original Sega Genesis hardware from the OSSC
* ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is the Nintendo Switch version (Ver. 1.4.2)
